About Us
Psychiatry Associates is an independent consultancy offering specialised psychiatric assessments for use in legal and professional contexts. Since our founding in 2004, we have supported hundreds of solicitors, prosecutors, courts, local authorities, and insurers by providing in-depth psychiatric evaluations and expert witness services.
Our consultants are highly trained forensic psychiatrists, many with up to 30 years of experience in both clinical practice and court reporting. Each is approved under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983 and recognised for their ability to navigate the intersection of mental health and the law.
The director is Dr Carol Mc Daniel.
